We've been here twice in a week and it's amazing. Once for regular dinner and once for afternoon Sunday roast.
Whenever you're here, make sure to order the scotch egg, it's divine. The rest of the menu changes everyday so you may not have the same options. The steak here is great as well as the cabbage preparation.
If you're interested in getting the Sunday roast, you will either need a reservation or get there before 11:30 on Sunday. The line picks up quickly but it's worth it. The beef roast was better than the lamb but both were delicious.
The staff here is friendly and attentive. It's funny that the British waitstaff is so great but the waitstaff in Paris is awful. Both countries follow a no tip culture but one country is clearly rude about doing their job.
I digress. Pig and Butcher is a great restaurant and deserves your visit. -

What a pub experience. I love to drink local beers when I'm traveling. Camden lager is delicious. I'd never had a sausage roll or scotch egg before. The sausage roll at the Pig and Butcher was out of this world. Delicious seasoned meat on the flakiest most buttery roll I've tasted. The scotch egg was also sublime.
The real treat was our dinner. We shared the Cowboy for two. If I'd known I was eating blood sausage I can't say it would have gone down but it was savory and delicious. Beat meal I've had so far. -

As a first time tourist of London, I really wanted to experience a good Sunday Roast. Heard good things about this place, so I decided to go. The Roast Beef was exceptionally tender, the potatoes and veggies were cooked well, and the Yorkshire pudding was huge and fluffy. Would definitely recommend this place and also to book ahead of time because it gets busy!

For all the tourists that want to break away from the manufactured experience: come to The Pig and Butcher. We came in ready for a food adventure and were met with a vibey, cool restaurant with farm fresh food and a new daily menu made of only the freshest ingredients available that day.
You may have to try something you've never even heard of but if you want an authentic experience, go for it.
We got a tasting platter with scotch eggs, fried whitebait, smoked mackerel and liver pate. Never had any of those things before and loved every one. We both got the waitress's recommendation for the main course, and were delivered a heavenly chicken dish that had us wishing we could lick our plates.
The wine menu is full and our waitress recommended a wine that paired well with all of our orders.
Overall, great experience.
